In the south of Burnaby, BC, are the communities of Suncrest, Big Bend, and South Slope. These quaint neighborhoods are less urbanized than other areas in the region, though not entirely unurbanized, but they more than make up for it with their scenic surroundings.

One could visit the local, full-service shopping area with specialty retailers at any time, should they desire it. To summarize, Big Bend’s neighborhood is best described as the unique combination of agricultural, commercial, industrial, recreational, and residential.
Just as one would expect, South Slope rests on a south-facing hill. Its northeast corner hosts townhomes and condominium towers that are in close proximity to essential goods and services. There is also a selection of South Slope townhouses close to the Metrotown area, for those interested. South Slope has the fortune to be near both multiple, well-tended parks and three popular commercial districts. One of South Slope’s parks features a river that even has live fish, namely salmon and trout, running through it. South Slope has no shortage of condos to invest in, should one be interested in this area.
The Suncrest, Big Bend, and South Slope communities are blessed with closeness to both nature and the city, something that not many other locations can say the same of. Such versatility is likely to appeal to those seeking a place to rent, and thus properties in this area deserve to be seriously considered for investments.
